WRoNGHEADED has just won the Best Score Award at Kerry Film festival. Warmest congratulations to Ray Harman. The film continues to be screened at home and internationally.

A major new contemporary dance work by Liz Roche in collaboration with composer Linda Buckley for the Cork Opera House stage.Emerging out of artistic dialogues between Brian O’Doherty and Liz Roche, I/Thou will draw upon the complex notations and symbolism in One Here Now; The Ogham Cycle, 

Choreographer Liz Roche has delved deep into the work of New York-based polymath Brian O’Doherty, and the result, Pilgrimage, is an immersive and intimate contemporary dance and live music installation created by the company in partnership with Sirius Arts Centre and Cork Midsummer Festival.

Evidence of a Piece That Happened

Time over Distance Over Time 

South Tipperary Arts Centre for Tipperary Dance Festival 2018, and UL

An interactive dance, film and digital technology installation, accessible for all ages. Re-imagined from the dance piece Time Over Distance Over Time, this installation presents elements of the original work and the ways in which it was made. Performed by the students of the in MA in Contemporary Dance Performance at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.

Open Call 2018

Sirius Arts Centre and Liz Roche Company have been awarded funding from the Arts Council Open Call programme for a major new work commissioned by and for the Cork Opera House  as well as an installation piece for Sirius Arts Centre in response to Brian O'Doherty's One, Here, Now murals which will be restored at Sirius in 2018. 

Lighting Design for Dance:
Lir Academy Jan 24th 2018

Liz Roche Company, The Lir Academy and Dance Ireland are collaborating on Design for Dance a project which brings together choreographers with lighting and costume students from the Lir's MFA in design in a creative and supported performance forum.
